Hi, I'm Derek Sammak.
For years, I served in full-time ministry at kings' Church NYC under Pastor David Engelhardt, not from the outside looking in, but as the person leading the way the church's systems came together.
When the church lost its building, we didn't just lose a room, we lost the one fixed point everything else was built around. Suddenly we were coordinating volunteers, production, and services across one of the busiest, most unpredictable cities in the world, with no walls to hold it together. I designed a mobile worship rig that let us hold services in NYC subway stations, and worked alongside our team to rebuild our livestream and volunteer systems from scratch, turning what used to live in scattered group texts into a documented Church HQ the whole team could actually run on.
Before ministry, I spent over a decade leading creative teams and building brand systems in the agency world, national retail design, brand strategy, production at scale. That background is exactly why I was able to help lead a growing church through crisis: I didn't just understand ministry from the inside, I knew how to design the kind of infrastructure that holds up when everything around it is moving.

Yes. No catch. The Sprint is free because it's the best way for both of us to know if working together further makes sense.
What if I can't do all 5 sessions right away?
Ideally, we run them 5 days in a row, back to back, that's what makes it a real Sprint and keeps the momentum. If that's not possible with your schedule, we'll find a way to stagger them, but consecutive days is always the goal.
What happens after the Sprint?
You walk away with a clear plan either way. If it makes sense to keep going, we'll talk about what building your Church HQ looks like. If not, the plan is still yours to use.
